Collection: Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans

Coffee is graded on a scale of 0-100 and the majority of coffee produced in the world falls between 50-80 grade (this is the coffee you might find on your supermarket shelves or at major chains).  At Rivet Coffee, we only roast coffee graded 80 and above, which is called specialty grade coffee.  Our coffee is graded by certified specialists at origin and warehouse by standards set forth by the Specialty Coffee Association. 

When we are deciding upon a coffee to introduce to our community, we first obtain samples and roast a small light roast batch.  These sample roasts introduce us to a wide variety of coffees and tasting notes.  Once we find a coffee that we believe is different, yet complementary, to our current offerings, we order then roast according to what naturally occurring flavor notes we desire.   

Our mainstay blends are Globetrotter, Caravel, Rahal, and Atlas.  Our single origin and other blend offerings change according to season and availability.  We always try to bring the best of specialty coffee to our community at an affordable price point.  Any of our offerings may be shipped as either 12oz or 5lbs bags.  If you are looking for a gift or would like to try several different selections, we recommend the Roaster's Choice Subscription.
